The holiday break can fall at a very critical time for many teams/athletes whose seasons begin soon after the new year. Traveling during school breaks, visiting family and being away from school can easily throw off daily routines. Here are a few ideas to stay on track.
Stick to the routine

Your individual workout plan may call for barbells, bumper plates and a few other gadgets. However, do not let visiting new facilities in other towns, or not having access to a facility, steer you off course. There are numerous options for body weight movement or modifications to other exercises that can work towards the same objective as a weighted exercise (i.e. bodyweight single leg squat and a weighted lunge).
