Rugger Grads: College to Senior Side
Rugby Transition Program
In collaboration with the Women's Rugby Coaches & Referees Association (WRCRA), The Rugger's Edge is pleased to announce the re-launch of our Rugger Grads: A College to Senior Side Rugby Transition Program.
Our pilot season is kicking off in June 2021 and we need your help to help us get this off the ground. This group will be participating in this comprehensive service FOR FREE!
Rugger Grads is a complementary, two-tiered, coaching program for college seniors about to make the next decision in their rugby career; post-college rugby. This program is for those uncertain about whether they should continue to play after college, where they should play, what level, and how to make their next move happen. Program is limited to 10 participants.
Build awareness around the next steps in their rugby career.
Gain knowledge of the current senior level rugby landscape (WPL, Division 1, 2 etc.)
Learn steps to navigate how to align your professional and athletic aspirations
Connect with professional and athletic contacts
Includes 2 video conference meetings (late June & late July)
In order to participate you must be:
A current college senior or have recently graduated from college
Have access to internet/video conference feature on your computer
Application Deadline: Friday May 28, 2021, 11:59 p.m. MT
Notification: Friday June 11, 2021
Mentors will include folks from the women's rugby community at large, including former USA Rugby Eagles Laura Miller and Kittery Ruiz and many others, led by Karen Fong Donoghue, Owner and Founder of The Rugger's Edge.
