College Program Highlight – Kutztown University


Comprising four colleges – Business, Education, Liberal Arts and Sciences and Visual and Performing Arts – Kutztown University of Pennsylvania offers a wide range of outstanding academic programs to prepare individuals for successful careers.

Located on 289 acres, the campus is adjacent to the Borough of Kutztown in Berks County, Pennsylvania.

As of Fall 2016, enrollment at the university includes approximately 8,500 students from 29 states and 33 nations. About 44 percent of the undergraduates live in residence halls; the rest live at home or in nearby apartments. A well-rounded program of athletic, cultural, and social events and activities satisfies nearly every taste.

Ninety-three percent of our tenured/tenure track faculty have doctorates or terminal degrees.  Kutztown boasts a favorable 18:1 student:faculty ratio.


The indoor training facilities overall the university has a friendly and open atmosphere. There is a wonderful opportunity for non-resident students to receive a whopping 40% reduction in tuition which makes it much more affordable for non-resident student athletes to attend KU.
