Critical Skill – Long Passing

After watching so much rugby over the years, especially high school and college rugby, I've come to realize the importance of having both accurate short and long passes for high school players looking to move up to higher levels of rugby. Many high school players may have mastered short passes, but rarely do I see young players (save maybe the Scrumhalf) can pass longer than 5-10 meters. If you can spend some time working on this, either at practice, at a nearby field with a friend, or even on your own at home. Building this skill will vastly improve your recruiting value! Here are some great videos with ideas you can practice to build these skills- so grab a friend and get to passing!!
