NextPhase & Rugger’s Edge Partnership to increase accessibility to college rugby & college rugby scholarships for all student-athletes
April 1, 2022: NextPhase and The Rugger’s Edge have joined forces to assist young student-athletes from across the world in pursuing higher education while playing top-level collegiate rugby.
Next Phase Rugby is an online platform and mobile app that allows high school athletes to create online profiles that include their academic and rugby information, pictures, highlight videos, references, contact information and more. Through the Next Phase Rugby platform, the high school athletes will have access to the largest database of collegiate rugby programs where they can follow their target schools, and search for schools by location, academic requirements, type of rugby program and more.
For many student-athletes, especially first-generation students, the process of just getting started can be daunting. NextPhase allows these students & families an easy pathway into starting conversations with coaches and opening up their eyes to what options they may have. Many students are able to move through the college recruitment process simply via NextPhase’s platform, while other students may find they need additional support. That’s where The Rugger’s Edge can step in to help.
